At present , many problems exist in power station boiler such as high NOx emission , various type of coal ,large difference between peak and valley loads of electricity supply , which seriously influence the safety and economical efficiency of boiler.Zhejiang University has developed various coal types burning technology ,low boiler load steady burning without casting oil adjustale rich / lean pulverized coal burning and low boiler load steady burning technology .
The low-NOx/steady combustion technolgoy developed by Zhejiang University has got two certifications of the State Discovery Patent and originated a completely independent intellectual property rights . The integrated using of over-fire air, reburning , air staging , fuel staging , combustion optimization etc make this technology has many advantages such as strong steady combustion ability ,multi-adjust methods, auto-alarm for overheating of nozzles,implement by electric remote control for the first time ,low NOx emisstion ,improve the adaptability of coal type and boiler load innovatively .
This technology has reached the international leading level .At present , it has been applied in more than 70 boilers in China , and reduce NOx emisstion by 40 thousand tons/year, the economic benefit is about 1 hundred million Yuan/year with both benefits of oil saving and environmental protection .
Case:
SOFA technology has been successfully applied in Ruiming Power Plant Guangdong province,with Nox emission level been controlled under 400mg/Nm3. After retrofit, the boiler can operate safely and stably under the load between 300T/h400T/h, the steam parameters and spray water amounts are all in normal conditions, carbon content of fly ash is range from 1~2.5%; the flue gas temperature deviation is controlled below 20.
A typical case on 670T/H boiler connect with 200MW unit in Qishuyan Power Plant Jiangsu province. After retrofit, the boiler can be operated safely at 50% load without the help of oil(just retrofit one level of the burners). The oil consumption can be saved about 0.8t/h, 1400t/year. Apart from that, the pressure lost can reduce 300-400Pa, which means the power consumption of the forced fun can reduce 6.5% with 330-450 thousands KWh of electric power can be saved every year. Millions of expenditure can be saved.
